The Translate Gender Family Group is a place for parents and family members of gender fluid/trans* children to come together and share successes, experiences, and challenges in the struggle to create a gender-affirming environment for their children, both at home and in communities. This group is designed to aid care givers in creating larger networks of supports and resources, and welcomes parents of children ages 3 - 17.

Sept 2017-Jan 2019, MASSACHUSETTS SCHOOL LIBRARY ASSOCIATION Western Mass Area Co-Director. Sept 2016-Oct 2017, PRISON BIRTH PROJECT Anti-Racism Advisory Committee Member. The job of the committee was to develop an advisory capacity to hold PBP to a mission of racial justice and support the organization in strategically challenging and dismantling racism within the organization and throughout the work. Apr 2017-Aug 2017, TEAM FINCH CONSULTANTS Communications Director. Oversaw and implemented new social media strategies, updated and redesigned website, and planned and implemented external communications. May 2016-Apr 2017, CIVIL LIBERTIES & PUBLIC POLICY Program Consultant. Built staff capacity, created innovative programming for annual activist conference including foundational 101 workshops, penned vision statement and goals for the 2017 conference, solicited and selected program proposals from student and community activist groups around the country, organized 45+ conference sessions, coached staff on building their own leadership, and seeded collaborations across internal program areas.. Nov-Dec. 2016, NOLOSE: THE REVOLUTION JUST GOT BIGGER SPAL (Small Projects Across the Land) Grant Review Team Member. Worked with a national team of grant reviewers to identity and recommend grantees to the Board that provide resources, access and/or voice to groups that have historically been marginalized within fat activist communities and to under-resourced regions with less visible fat activist communities--for the last quarterly grant of the year. Summer 2016, PRISON BIRTH PROJECT Board Recruitment Consultant: Led local, creative, expansive search for new board leadership that will incorporate the organization as a 501(c)3 and advise organizational anti-racism commitments.
